Chicken Mint Samosa Recipe | Crispy & Flavorful Snack

Ingredients

  • 250g chicken mince
  • 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste
  • 1½ tbsp green chili paste
  • Salt to taste
  • ¼ tsp cumin powder
  • 1 tsp whole spice powder (garam masala)
  • 1 tsp crushed coriander seeds
  • 6-7 mint leaves, finely chopped
  • 4 medium onions, finely chopped
  • ½ cup green onions, chopped
  • Fresh coriander leaves, chopped
  • Samosa patti (wrappers)
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

Step 1: Prepare the Chicken Filling

  1. In a pan, add chicken mince, ginger garlic paste, green chili paste, cumin powder, crushed coriander seeds, and salt.
  2. Dry roast on medium-low flame until the moisture evaporates.
  3. Add chopped green onions and cook for another 2 minutes.
  4. Once dry, mix in whole spice powder (garam masala) and let it cool.

Step 2: Add Fresh Ingredients

  1. Mix in finely chopped onions, mint leaves, and fresh coriander leaves.

Step 3: Assemble the Samosas

  1. Take a samosa patti (wrapper) and fold it into a cone.
  2. Fill with the prepared chicken mixture and seal the edges using a flour-water paste.
  3. Repeat until all samosas are ready (makes approx. 24).

Step 4: Fry to Perfection

  1. Heat oil in a pan on medium-low flame.
  2. Fry the samosas in batches until golden and crispy.
  3. Drain on a paper towel.

Step 5: Serve & Enjoy

  1. Serve hot with mint chutney or ketchup.

💡 Tip: For a healthier version, air-fry or bake at 180°C (350°F) for 15-20 minutes, flipping halfway.
