VEGETABLE KABA
Ingredients

Vegetables:
- Cabbage (grated) – 1 cup
- Green capsicum (grated) – 1 cup
- Carrots (grated) – 1 cup

Potatoes:
- Boiled and mashed potatoes – 1 cup

Sauces and Condiments:
- Mayonnaise – ½ cup
- Ketchup – 2 tablespoons
- Chilli garlic sauce – 2 tablespoons
- Mustard paste – 1 teaspoon

Spices:
- Onion powder – ½ teaspoon
- Paprika powder – ½ teaspoon
- Garlic powder – ½ teaspoon
- Red chilli flakes – ½ tablespoon
- Red chilli powder – 1 teaspoon
- Black pepper powder – 1½ teaspoons
- Salt – to taste

Coating:
- All-purpose flour – 2 tablespoons
- Cornstarch – 2 tablespoons
- Black pepper powder – 1 teaspoon
- Bread crumbs – 1 cup
- Water – as needed
Instructions
1. Prepare the Vegetable Mixture:
- In a large bowl, mix the grated cabbage, capsicum, and carrots.
- Add mayonnaise, mustard paste, ketchup, chilli garlic sauce, onion powder, paprika powder, garlic powder, red chilli flakes, black pepper powder, and a pinch of salt.
- Mix all the ingredients thoroughly.
2. Prepare the Potato Base:
- Mash the boiled potatoes in a separate bowl.
- Add red chilli powder and salt to the mashed potatoes and mix well.
- Combine the mashed potatoes with the grated vegetable mixture.
- Mix everything together until a uniform dough-like consistency is achieved.
3. Shape the Kababs:
- Form small, round kababs (or patties) from the mixture. Set them aside.
4. Prepare the Coating:
- In a bowl, mix all-purpose flour, cornstarch, black pepper powder, and a pinch of salt.
- Gradually add water to form a thick, smooth paste.
5. Coat the Kababs:
- Dip each kabab into the prepared flour-cornstarch paste.
- Roll the dipped kabab in bread crumbs until fully coated.
6. Fry the Kababs:
- Heat oil in a shallow pan over medium heat.
- Fry the kababs until golden brown on both sides.
Serving Suggestion
Serve the hot vegetable kababs with ketchup, green chutney, or a dipping sauce of your choice. Enjoy!
NOTE
You can adjust spices according to your taste.
You can also use eggs for coating.
You can also add boiled and shredded chicken.
